Government starts information campaign about new pension system

It is important for young and old to know what changes and what remains the same in the new pension system. That is why the Dutch government has started a national campaign. The 'Pensioenduidelijkheid' (pension clarity) campaign has been launched on radio, television and social media.

The new pension system

At the end of May 2023, the Senate approved the Future Pensions Act (Wtp). The House of Representatives already agreed in December 2022. The new rules ensure that the pension is better suited to the times. The new law came into effect on 1 July 2023.
