Leaving employment
You have a new job outside the company or are unemployed. What happens to your pension?
Your employer will deregister you from APF Pension Fund
Your salary payments will stop and no further pension contributions will be paid. We will inform you of the value of the pension that you have accrued with us and what will happen to it. Every year, a new pension overview will be made available in My pension. After you have left employment, we will send you a pension overview once every 5 years.
Things you can arrange further yourself
- If you will be changing employers
You will be able to transfer your pension to your new pension administrator. This is called a value transfer. If your pension is less than € 592,51 a year (in 2024), we will arrange the value transfer for you automatically. You will not need to do anything yourself in this situation. - If you have accrued a small pension
And you have left the employment of your employer before 1 January 2018, APF Pension Fund may decide to commute this amount. you will then receive your pension in the form of a one-off lump sum payment.
