Early retirement

The standard retirement age for anyone participating in the pension scheme administered by APF Pension Fund is 68. You could choose to retire earlier too, but not later. View My pension for more information about how this will affect your pension.

You have decided to retire early

We can offer you the possibility to retire from the age of 60.
Your pension will fall by approximately 7% for each year of early retirement. This is because your pension accrual will stop early and your pension will be paid out longer.
You will receive more information from us, clearly explaining how to apply for your pension, about 6 months before your statutory retirement date.

What you need to do

Make clear agreements with your employer in advance.
If you would like to retire on a date other than your 68th birthday, contact us 3 months before the date on which you want to retire at the very latest.
